Went to the track yestarday...

I went to the track yestarday kinda disapointed in my car
R/T... .424
60`... 2.398
330... 6.656
1/8... 10.121
MPH... 70.69
1000... 13.124
1/4... 15.641
MPH ...90.84


I raced a 1996 maxima all he had was just an intake on his car...
he kicked my *** he got a 15.1
I thought my 2000 maxima would be quicker...
anyone know waht the hell could be wrong

was the 96 maxima 5speed also?? u should be able to get 15.1's stock properly driven

Hate to break it to you. Chirpin' the tires = wheelspin. Wheelspin = less traction. Less traction = slower times.

Practice your launches. Do you drop the clutch? If so, at what RPM? Getting a lot of wheelspin? If so, maybe you should try feathering clutch.

Chirpin' the tires = wheelspin. Wheelspin = less traction
Chirping the tires into second gear is not going to slow you down.

my 2000 se auto ran 15.1 with bolt ons, its not hard.....

15.1???? how the *!k did u launch tht thing and didu have the vb mod?
i havent gone to the track yet but evryone tells me i should get 15.4 and i have most of the bolt ons

His car was a stick...
I dropped the clutch at around 2500
my car was hoppin on the track so i let some air pressure out...
I had a good launch on him...but somehow he came up on my and passed me i was like that the ****
i have 50,000 on my car...he had 110,000
what the hell should i do...i was embarrassed

That is such a general statement. I challenge anyone to do a 15.1 at MY track with a 2k-2k1 5 speed. Many things come into play OTHER than driver skill.

How about trying to get a 2k2+ 6 speed into the 14s at Bandimere, think you have the driver skill to do it?
