you found a brand new 02 6 speed with 100 miles on it? did you see the odometer? if so, i got my 2k2 GLE over a year ago brand new with everything but NAV and it cost me 24, so i'd think they should go down some more. however, the demand for 6 speeds is pretty large, seeing as almost no one can get their hands on one now, in that aspect, ya i guesss its a pretty good deal

also, they can bring the price down, its just a matter of how hard you fight them for it. if you can get even another 500 off, then thats 500 more in your pocket for a cat-back or something. definatly talk them down a little more. be an ***hole it pays off. i always bring my dad car shopping cause he hates salespeopel

ah first car... awsome first car btw. well if you're gonna get a new one, thats a pretty decent price. not awsome, not bad either tho, if its got every option except nav. i take it its got leather and all the goods? well you know what they say - its easy to spend someone elses money i'd say go for it cause the 6 speed is a fast, reliable car. buying it new you know that no one beat on it either, which is defnitly a plus for a car like that. tell them somethin like you'll take it if they throw in ___ and take 200 off the price. dont let them know you really want it!!!! make like you're very interested in some other cars. when i got mine i got another 300 of their "absolute lowest price" because they "werent gonna lose me as a customer over just 300 dollars" but thats another 300 in your pocket if you can get it. but ya, i say go for it, cause you're not gonna find another 6 speed most likely, not a 2k2/2k3 at least

$370 a month?? You leasing or purchasing?? You're probably doing a 60 month finance term, right?

sounds like my car that i paid 25.8 new. if i could have the car again with 100 miles for almost 2k cheaper, i would be all over it. Get it, and be happy..

and, 370 a month...for how many years with how much $$$ down. if its not much down, that a 7 year payment plan...

I paid 25K for mine in August 2002 with fewer options. Your price of 24K, while not a steal, isn't bad IMO. At least attempt to get a bit more of a discount...even a few hundred would be good. A 2K2 with 100 miles is a rare find for sure!

Does it have HLSD?

24K is NOT a good deal. I just realized half-way through reading this thread that it's a 2002, not a 2003. That being said, the second that car leaves the parking lot, you're looking at it being worth about 18-19K on the street. If it was a 2003, I'd say take it as it's a decent deal, but since it's a 2002, it has already been victim to 2 yrs worth of depreciation, and a lot of it (Maximas depreciate like no other).

So, bargain it down to around 21K and take it. Otherwise, keep looking.

Vito is right. You are getting absolutely raped if you buy that car for over $21K.

Getting the price down is all about how you present your self, if you spend 3 hours trying to get the price down they know you are desperate. The best way to go about things are don't talk much but walk away after they now you are some what interested and if they have your number. They will come off that price unless there is some sucker willing to pay remember its not a rare car and it being a 6speed yes thats rare for the maxima but the maxima isn't in high demand and the 6speeds only really appeal to mid 20's and younger.

The car you are buying is 2002! There is 2004 on the market so it's already 2 years old. The second you leave the parking lot with a 2k2 car, it is worth $17K on the open market... don't be a sucker dude. I know it's your first car and you're excited and tempted by the Power that Max offers, but be patient and play the game right.

PS: I like your username btw...
