Traction Control, What is it?
#2
well....you don't really need it unless
you get snow. To break your tires loose on wet roads you really have to get on the gas pretty hard. Traction control system...TCS...will cut power to the engine or even shift the gears of the auto to prevent the wheels from spining on ice and snow. It is good stuff. AND you can turn it off if ya wanna have some fun ABS is standard so you don't have to worry about stopping.

TCS is weird on snow
On snow, at an angle, you basically just do not move. When I first brought my i30 home I was really shocked to see how "well" it worked. It would be great on semi-slippery roads at higher speeds, but if you just want to make it up a driveway or over a hill on snow, you have to turn it OFF to get anywhere. It's the opposite of what I first thought.
