Just wanted to know if anyone has replaced the OEM shifter for a STS on their 6 speeds? If so what brand? And where purchased?

 

NOT YET...it may be in the works...secret project.

 

At the last all nissan stillen meet they said, "We'll have it out by next fall" which I'm guessing means they are working on one... but not likely.

My local parts dealer told me to try the 350z short shifter (if you can spend the $$$)

My shifter is notchy enough as it is. I don't need an STS to make it even worse.

 

cabled shifted honda short throw 'adapters' raise the point on which the cable is attached. I don't know which kit was used, but it works. I wanted to try, but it looks ghetto. I'll find out Monday what the shop that did (non-,org member) used on his car. 30% reduced throw, claimed, but feels much more solid. If any shops have access to these shifter adapters, find out, cause I wanna know now.
