Angel Eye (DDE) pics

I am about halfway done installing umnitza's kit. I have some pictures:

I also put clear lenses in the turn signal, and blocked out the parking lens, since I will not be using them.

Just in case anyone is interested.

Jimmy

Looking good Jimmy!
The clear lense for the turning signal looks nice.

Today I just finish the 2nd headlight so all I need now are those colored filters

where did I get the lenses? Sears hardware. They look just like those offroad lamps you see on top of 4x4's, only these are for those low voltage outdoor lighting systems. I took the plastic cover off and cut it down to the size needed (a little over 3" I think?) The covers were a little over 5". I took the orange lens out, marked a circle using it onto the 5" lens. I then used my dremel with a cutoff disc to make the cut. Worked good. Then I used clear silicone to hold it in place.

To block out the parking lens I used chrome trim sheet. You can get it at custom auto shops.

I believe the bulb is a 7443. Or 7440. I forget which. One is single filament, the other is dual. I bought a dual filament amber bulb to put in, because I couldnt find an amber single filament. It still fits and it works, i tried it.

My last hangup now is where to mount the light box for the DDE.

Hey, Umnitza, why did you make it so BIG? I think I am going to make a smaller one at work. Any reason not to you think?
