Get a supercharger and the plate:

"4SFED 6".

Then, you and "4SFED 4" can be brothers in induction!

Hmmm... sounds like a good idea. Let's see what Nissan comes up with for the 2002 model first. If it's expensive, I'll look into the Stillen SC. It won't be as fast as 4SFED though. Speaking of which, how's your "little" project coming along?

4SFED is coming nicely. About 2 or 3 more weeks and I hope to have the new lower end in. I thought I was done, but apparently the bores are out of spec (Ive got massive blowby and corresponding crankcase pressure). So, Ive got to yank the block and have it bored at the machine shop and get some oversized pistons, maybe 30 over. Thatll solve the problem and 4SFED will be rockin.

Thanks Paul. I was very surprised how easy it was here in NY to go to the DMV website, query the system to find available plates, and then when you found one you like it was as easy as buying a CD from Amazon.com - just click, add plate to cart and checkout! They even took my credit card!

Good Luck!

I have Connecticut plates and since the CT DMV sucks, they only allow you a maximum of 6 letters or numbers for personal plates. I also think that they cut it in the middle with a "dot" like they do their normal, non-personalized plates (which sucks even more). The reason I wanted to get personalized was because it's a ONE TIME fee of 50 dollars or something like that (plus the purchase of the new plates, since they mandate you to have non-personalized plates first). Where as in NY, it's like 75 dollars EVERY TIME you renew your registrations (RIP OFF!!!, but then again, in NY what isn't? Taxes, registraion, INSURANCE...shall I go on? NO I'm not bitter

Anyway, a friend of mine had suggested "2DA MAX" like I had on my GXE (with NY plates) but I don't want to do that again. Now I'm also noticing that xtantmaxima has the same thing Any suggestions?

I wish we could do ours online. We can only renew online, not do the advanced stuff. I had to talk to them in person about the available plates. I thought up a new one:

222 HP

If I upgrade to the 3.5 VQ next year, it will have to change to 260 HP (or whatever it is)
