Power Packs-2k Maxima

Does anyone know how 2 check the power packs for the spark plugs on the 2k Maximas? Is there a way to Ohm the coils? My car runs a little rough until it warms up a bit. Thx.

Good question... sounds like you're on the right track since it runs rough cold. How many miles do you have on the car?

I had my #1 ignition coil go out around 27-28k. I've noticed symptoms of it happening again. If it worsens I'll be calling DAVEB to order the other 5. If I can get past that & my new MAF holds up I sould be good until spark plug time at 45k.

I don't know how to test them, and apparently neither did my dealership! I didn't have any codes come up on the computer or anything. I did manage to get had all of the coils replaced under warranty. There is actually as TSB pertaining to the coils. My car would run rough when cold and just barely knock under load at around 2k-3k RPM.
