hp gains?

wanna know what kinda gains come from an injen CAI intake and a catback exhaust on an 01 SE...i looked at the stock exhaust piping and its like 1.5" i bet and it sounds like crap...and the stock intake box it so restricted im surprised the car can breathe...im guessing those 2 mods will do quite a bit..such a restricted damn car

one more thing, what would a typical stock 01 SE run in the 1/4 mile...could it beat an 00 eclipse GT v6 5 spd - CAI + exhaust??(me, eclipse vs my dad, maxima) i think he will definately take me once he gets the obx exhaust were gettin

I'm not sure what the EXACT gains are (10+ HP anyone?) from that combination...but, all I do know is that those mods together (especially an intake) will really help out a lot.

Intakes add about 3-5HP
A catback will add about 5-7hp
typical times, there are faster time but from what I've seen, these seem to be a good benchmark
Stock auto w/o manual shifting 17" rims 16.2@86mph
Stock auto w/o manual shifting 16" rims 16.0@87mph
Stock auto w/ manual shifting 17" rims 15.6@88mph
Stock auto w/ manual shifting 16" rims 15.4@89mph
Stock manual 16" rims 15.0@94mph
Stock manual 17" rims 15.2@92mph

The biggest bolt-on gain is the downpipe (aka F-pipe/Ypipe/Race pipe)
