Gauges at Night

I am interested if anyone could take some pictures of the gauges at night on a 2k2/2k3 SE at night. I am interested in getting on and not too long ago I saw one on the road but didnt get a good look at the gauges. I did a search for this but the links and pic that was posted are no longer available. Thanks!

Just a suggestion, but if you live near a dealership go for a 'test drive' at or after dark and you will see all you could want. Often pic's in the dark of backlit gauges won't do them justice.

What's so special about 2k2/3 SE guages at night? They look pretty plain to me... I will try to get a pic if I can but just browse thru ORG members homepages, I am sure you'll find one.

its not a 2k2 =( but its a 2k =)

here are some pics i took of my hyper needle kit.. its odd cuz it looks bad@ss but not that many ppl have it for 2k + cars.. if u like brightness at night.. these r a must.. install was ez.. about 25mins.. if u do get them.. when u take the needles off.. use a fork and pliers.. use the pliers to hold the metal pin down.. and use the fork to pop the needle out... **if u pop the metal pin out from the tach.. its a gonner..

seeing as Nissan has been putting these style gauges on the Maxima for over 15 years now, I believe the 2k3 accords look like the Maximas at night

It does *not* look like the 2k3 Accord dash lights at night. They use EL gauges (AKA same material as Indiglo) while the Maxima's uses LED's IIRC - thus why the uneven lighting.

Remember though, this must have been with a flash - at night the gauges are actually black with white numerals.

soundmike, do you find the lighting uneven when it's dark? I haven't paid close attention, but while it's definitely uneven at dusk, in full dark haven't noticed...?

When fully dark the unevenness (sp?) is hardly noticeable at all. On the new Honda's however it doesn't matter if it's light or day - it's just even throughout.

Here's how mine looks like at night. Taken a while back, forgive the blur and angle - kinda hard driving while "feeling" the camera for a shot.

Actually that's 498 + 35.8 on that particular tank

Chevron 93, though IIRC i had half a tank of Amoco at this point. Chevron's are hard to come by in the NE

Almost forgot, that's halfway through my road trip to the NE states coming from Texas. I'd say it's 100% highway driving
