0-60?
Some of you guys keep being down on the Potanzas...
I thought the general thought was that they have bad wet traction, and otherwise a nice tire?
I have them on my car... haven't had a problem really. Didnt give me huge confidence in wet otherwise... they seem fine to me

Way to bump an ancient thread. We have a newbie thread for questions like this.It would GREATLY affect your 0-60 and hp. The ECU adjusts, but it doesn't make up for the loss of atmospheric pressure. I'm @ anywhere from 5600 - 7400, and see about 11.61 PSI of pressure at 7400 vs the standard 14.7 @ sea level.

Yeah and for the altitude thing, you're just a short google search away from enlightenment...
His bumping of this old thread = increased post counts for all involved, though. Is it really so bad?

I drove my Maxima down to LA last year. The power difference was night and day. My brother-in-law has a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 with 420hp. My Maxima at sea level felt as fast as his Jeep does here. I'm so envious of the guys that live near sea level now.
It has 6.0 for 2002 Nissan Maxima SE. I think it's safe to assume that's for the 6spd. I think that quote comes from Car and Driver.

But yeah... that still doesn't answer the question about the automatic.
