I belive he has the one from www.custommaxima.com its basically a mini resonator, thats why noise isnt effected much at all.

Hmmm...I think I know what your problem is. The Greddy catback has one of the smallest resonators ive seen. IF you want to get the greddy resonator cut off and add a 22" magnaflow resonator im sure it will still keep things nice and deep but quiet down any raspy noises.
Your call man, steve's ride has the cattman cat-back which has a pretty decent size resonator on it. I think its 18", I have the cattman b-pipe but the rest of the piping is custom to the magnaflow. The muffler looks better then the cattman but its deeper and at times more anoying. I dont have the test pipe however.

How would you pass emission when there are no cats on the car I Actually a 3.5 might but im not too sure if the two pre-cats in the front are going to be enough to make it pass. If yuo have a 3.0 with a y-pipe and a race-pipe there is no way in hell your gonna pass. I just left me stock cat on, if I had a 3.5 id get the race-pipe because it still has the pre-cats. You dont have to worry about emissions for like 5yts FYI.
