Just lowered! Additional work necessary?

Just had the KYB strut and Tein spring installed, need to know whether an alignment is necessary or camber job required? I want the tires to wear evenly, don't want any suprises down the road due to the suspension drop. I'll post pics when I can.

Had the job done at RPM in Anaheim, the install was quick and efficient. Justin and his partner got right down to it, knew what was needed to be done and sent me on my way with little waiting. Well worth the $75 install, I recommend it. Car handles quite firm like the way it should be. The soft riding suspension just does not work well with my driving habits. Tein and KYB a good combination for those looking to lower their Maxima's. Lates.

Oh and props to Hoon for scoring the org member discount at RPM. Saw your ride out front, its lookin fine.

Okay, the pics be here...

My alignment was off after my install (H&R Springs) which have less of a drop than Teins. So your alignment would probably be off as well.

Hmm, i figured alignment work might be necessary. Did you get it aligned quickly after the drop? I had those guys rotate my tires after the install, so I'm riding on fresh tread up front. Like to keep them that way for as long as possible.

How is the ride with the new Struts.
I am on a MAXSPEED springs and stock struts. The ride is Harsh and wicked over even the slightest damaged road.

How is the ride? I have Tein's with stock struts and I knew it was going to be bad. Now looking for struts, how's your ride?

Considering that the struts and springs are brand new, the ride is much firmer than before. A lot of the road dips can be felt, the car dips and rises more often than before. I expected the ride to be harsher from new suspension. Once the springs settle and the struts break in i'm sure the ride will level out more. The KYB's go very well with Teins.

Who the hell did it for that much! Thats insane $75!!

You dont need an alignment, ive had the Teins on for 5K miles and my tires are wearing evenly and it doesnt pull in either direction. The ride is horrible the 1st week, I mean bone jarring hard. If your using stock struts with Teins your nuts, your gonna be bouncing all over the place.

Hers a pic...

Nice man, i'm already used to the rougher ride. Its not severe enough to annoy me and its only temporary. Taking corners at faster speeds made this install so worth while!
