Service Engine Soon Light came on

The SES light just came on today when I came home from work today. Where can I go to get the code pulled? I believe AutoZone does this, am I correct?

For the California readers in the audience, AutoZone will NOT do this for us. Apparently, to keep auto mechanics happy and employed, the state of California does not allow AutoZone to do this.
I just bought a 2000 Maxima, with the SES light on. Instead of paying the dealer $65-$100 just for an estimate on the repair (the car is 1k miles out of warranty), I bought a $150 Actron OBDII scanner at AutoZone that I can use on my own and my friend's cars (1996 and above, 1995 for Maxima). The plug is right underneath the steering wheel, in an opening facing the floor.
My problem is a P0450 error, Evap system pressure sensor fault, which means there's a leak in the evaporative emissions system. If anyone has dealt with this before, I'd appreciate a response. Thanks!

On my way to an appointment, I had to drive on a ral $hitty road for a mile or so. They are trying to build new road... anyway, on my way back I noticed Service Engine Soon light on. I quickly glanced thru the manual it says it should disappear after a few trips... is that true? Or is there something for me to be worried about? Do I have to take it to Autozone or the dealer?
