Gt-r

sorry, but I saw the most rediculous thing........

a Black Dodge Dakota, with the badges removed, and a "GT-R" badge added in the lower right hand side of the tail gate...

absolutely nuts if you ask me...

Laugh all you want about 'hicks' but as someone who lives in a pretty rural area, they don't do that kind of crap. More like NRA stickers.

It is the stupid city kids who do that kind of thing.

I know this is the only break I can cut them...but at least some people do that kind of thing to Japanese cars...kind of keeps the GT-R theme on the right side of the ocean.

I just can't fathom those who do it to domestics...trucks or otherwise.

they dont know what it means, and they think it makes them cool, or... they have been endorsed by nissan who thinks their dodge's look 'that' cool that they want all other dodge truck owners to realize they are nissan quality dodge trucks err umm ok maybbe not.

People do odd things. thats all i can think of. BTW nothing against hicks, i just said that because it was a pickup truck : ]

They SURE do!

No prob about pickups!! All's good.

Funny thing is I had those kind of preconceptions as well until the last several years of living (by choice) in more open settings...turns out a good portion are really hard working people who think nothing of giving you a hand or at least a beer when you meet them.

And your point is????? I also live in a rural area and you wouldn't believe the trouble I have picking my way through the pesky-*** modded Civics, Mitsubishis, etc... But the ricer of choice 'round here has to be the Focus.

Are we talking neighborhoods with dirt/gravel roads about 1/4 of the time? Off-road trails from the street? Every 4th house has a horse...in the yard? 20-50 head herds of cattle are grazing behind wire fences 20 feet from the road and drainage is all culvert and septic? If not, then your definition of rural and mine are quite different.

Yes we are. 2 minutes from my house and I'm in the soybean, rice, & cotton fields. Lovely wide open spaces with gravel & farm roads out the yin-yang. But, not a horse at every 4th house, although in town there are a few four-lane roads with a house or two that are horse stables! I have an old beatup pickup for the backroads; the Max is strictly for the pavement!

I could show you a place in town (not where I live but down the road a bit) where slave quarters are still standing out behind the main house!

OK, fair enough...guess you just have 'stupid hick kids' who don't know about pick-ups.

A Possibe Explaination...

In this case, the "R" in GT-R must stand for "Retarded"
