auto roll down windows w/remote
ok i know this may seem kind of dumb and probably wont get any responses but i have to ask because its really bothering me... i got my max june 3rd so i only have had it lik 2 monthes... i work for circuit city in the install bay and i work on cars alot but today when i went out to do a radio in a 98 maxima i went to unlock it ... usually with my max i press the unlock button twice jus for the hell of it... so i pressed the button twice and i noticed the window rolled down and then i held the button down like you would wit an aftermarket alarm and the window went all the way down... so i asked the kid i work wit whose brother is juice the kid wit the 2k2 if his max did it and he said yeahh that all of them from 96 up do ... but what did they stop doing it wit the 2k n 2k1 's ???

Since you work at Circuit City, you can get the installers to install 2 DEI 530T window modules in your car. That'll give you one touch control at all the windows, as well as an input to roll the windows up/down using a remote. But don't rely on the stock remote to do it. If you don't have an alarm, get them to install one for you as well. Then use the extra channels on the alarm to control the windows rolling up and down. That's how I did mine.

As for your answer, the wheel may feel like it's "slipping" when you hit a bump, but that can be considered normal. Now if the whole car "slips" when one tire hits a bump, that's a different issue.
can i put this on the stock key FOB? i had a thread about this but no one replied.

if u apply the brakes from a somewhat high rate of speed and hit a bump with your foot on the brakes at the same time your ABS kicks in for a split second because that wheel is off the ground for a split second..... i read that in the "pro's and con's" of the new 5th gen max back in a 2000 issue of car and driver a while back, i have also experienced this b4 not hurting the car at all one of those u have to live with like the severe torque steer.

To my knowledge, only one person has ever attempted this. I was told that they were able to squeeze one extra channel out of the keyfob by using a series of relays and diodes. However, I don't know any more information than that. There was a thread here on the .org about it, but the final "How-To" was never posted.

How do you roll down your windows with a remote in a 2k2?
What should i search for? I couldn't find it. Could you help me located that thread?
