Why no rear Tower Strut Bar for 03's

Will a 02 bar fit on an 03? I thought they were pretty much the same car? Anyone.

It will fit just fine. Exactly the same from 02-03.

Any real benefits to it? I see almost everyone has front tower and rear sway but only few people have rear tower. Is it not worth the money?

Rear strut tower braces benefit hatchbacks more than coupes or 4 doors. You would be hard pressed to notice much of a difference. Get a rear sway bar if you don't already have one.

Auto-X racers could probably notice a difference, but on an every day driver vehicle you wouldnt notice it.

Actually, you would notice it....

but only as an intrusion to trunk space/utility.

Yeah, more of an intrusion than anything else. I got it and didn't notice a thing. I think it's more for looks if even that.

You know you got the looks! I was thinking about it but it wouldn't leave the sub much room.

Believe it or not, one of our local customers has the Stillen RSTB and a complete custom stereo that hides the RSTB. Looks awesome and you wouldn't even be able to tell it was there.

Hmmm...This just gave me an idea...I wonder if I could install a RSTB and secure my sub box to it somehow. May be a dumb idea, but at least that would keep the box from sliding all over the trunk, and a pretty effective anti-theft device at the same time...What do you guys think?

I'm blushing, I'm blushing But seriously, the strut bar shouldn't really create too much of a problem if you're making a custom box.
