18x7.5 tenzoR passion 5. Whaduya think?

thinking about getting new wheels soon and i came across these:
http://www.tenzoracingsports.com/roa...n-5/index.html
i think that the gunmetal grey would look great with a sterling mist colored max. I have sprints and tenzos in the garage waiting to be installed, so the car will be lowered as well. tell me what you guys think.
Oh yeah, i've read all the threads about 7.5 inch wide rims and i'm willing to accept it since tenzo doesnt make a wider passion 5.

thanks guys. from your local

the wheels look nice and different from what ive seen on other maxes. since you are in charlotte, you should come out with some of the local guys around here. we try to get up once a week and go to dinner and hangout. check the dc forum for times. also what are you paying for the wheels?

thnx for the input sloppymax. the the wheels+ nitto 555 tires are going to run me around $1500. About hanging out, er.. probably have to wait until early november when i get my license back. talk about torture, i havent driven legally in 1.5 years! (i keep the illegal drivingto an absolute minimum.) but, sure, i'd love to hang out with fellow max enthusiates. BTW what mods you working with?

They're stillen, made in Japan by Enkei. I think the tires are 225/40's They're a little thin, looking to put something a little thicker in both ways...like 245/45's

cool. thats going to be the only downfall of the tenzo's. since their 7.5s i dont think that i can put on more thatn 235/40's without compromising safety

1500 seems like quite a bit for 17's and tires. you might want to shop around in my opinion on price. where did you get the quote from? you can check out my homepage for what ive got so i dont have to fill up space typing it out.

Those Tenzo Passion 5's look real good...I'm considering getting some for my lady friend's Accord. Personally, I wouldn't put anything that thin on a Max, but that's just me...

Dr. Volkl: lookin' good

sorry my bad, i wasnt paying attention again. ive heard of zeptsa but dont have any experience with them. i know a few people with that can get deals on wheels but none of them carry the tenzos or id throw you a quote too. i think i will going with the 555 for tires next as well, due to blubyu2k2's experience with them so far.
