I found mildew grewing under the part of the door where the buttons are at. I found it in the holder thing (?) on the door. Is it from the AC?

Lack of sunlight and fresh air? Make sure your climate control is not set on recirculate...Spray some Lysol cleaner up in there to get rid of it.
