Never been there and promised myself I wouldn't go there till I was satisfied with the Mods I did to the Maxima. Well all I have is the FSB, Air Intake and a few other little things done. Not sure I would impress anyone there but it could be fun to see what the max can do in the 1/4 mile. How much does it cost? Oh Sh*t You need a helmut and other things don't you to race?

 

Not sure - I think $20 to race $15 for admission- So what all I have is a franken and FTSB- basically stock- so i wana make sure where I'm at before more moddin'

I am not a good leader, so someone PM everyone who is going and take down the phone #s, so we could all meet up outside and take some pics.

 

Everytime I go to Etown, I'm almost always the ONLY Nissan there, if not the only Maxima. WTH? If I go, I'll spectate; I doubt I'll beat my best time anyway (car's been sitting for a week since I commute by train AND it has a full tank). Have good time guys.

Me and MannyNJ2k2Max went, I'll let him tell you guys the results. It was a good day to race, a lot of cars there, Vettes mostly since it was the Corvette challenge.

Cool Air to go along with the nice day as well.

 

GuZo u missed my best run when u left as I was icing my engine-and I
broughty my psi up -I think lowering hurt me - I dunno why i lowered
it on the second race when i ran ok the first race- but i was into the
14.6's by coolin down and normal tire pressure- anyway those
PUTANZA's sucked azz on the track today- if only I had those new
drag radials like the srt-4's - one of the owners told me he never
went lower than a 13.9 1/4 and w/ just the tires he ran a scorching 13.3
stock

 

Well, I was leaning towards the FX35 as of late to replace my POS Y2K Quest (less than 3mos). However, the utility of a minivan coupled with a large extended family (not to mention home ownership - frequent Home Depot/Lowes trips) make my van a must @ this point.

Therefore, I'm leaning towards buying out the lease on (and payoff) the Max (family car backup to the Quest) and buying a Honda S2000 as a fun car. If I play it right, I'll get the S2K @ around the same time the S2200 comes out in order get a discount.

14.6 is the time Quansung ran in his 6sp Max the last time we were @ the track together. I was considering a pair of R compound tires for the track next year.
