VB Mod question..

Does anyone here have the Trans-go VB mod kit? What is the difference between that one, and the one done at Maximum Tuning. And in either case, how easy is it to put the VB back on

Thanks

Oh, and a follow up question. With VB mod, any downsides I need to be aware of? I understand that there's a chance that it will void transmission warranty, but are there any long term issues I need to watch out for, or is it truly as good as it sounds? And yes I did use the search

LOL in that case i haven't heard of any negatives. it makes the tranny stronger and the shifts are better, so i see no downsides, only positives my friend... i might try and get one myself...

trans-go is an addon and is not as extreme a change. Most say it does not do much at all, but it is removable.

The other VB mods are just that, they take the VB out and modify it to have quicker/harsher shifts. Since they are doing a non-reversible process to your VB they can make it shift as hard as you would like.

Putting the VB back on it not difficult, but you can easily mess things up if you forget to connect something or lose a spring. Take your time and be ready to get messy.

rather than the VB mod, try doin the so called drop resistor mod - just disconnect the plug next to the air box (its mouned on the top of the shock setup) and then your car will shift nice and hard!
