Made my own Hyper-Ground wires
Made my own Hyper-Ground wires
I finally made my own Hyper-Ground wires last Saturday.
Went to "Electronic Parts Outlet" in Houston. They have most
everything. Bought six feet of 4 gauge wire with a red jacket
for $1.10 per foot. Bought gold plated 4 gauge ring connectors
for around $4.50 for a pack of 4 and heavy duty wire cutters
for around $9. I elected to use my vice grip pliers instead of
buying a crimper. The wires that I made were not a nice as the
ones that came in my G35 kit. Those had better copper ring
connectors that were constructed better and had heat shrink
enclosures over the end of the wires where they connect with
the connectors. I added two more wires to my 2000 Maxima
and two more to my G35, bring the G35 to a total of 10 wires!
Found that the black resin intake manifold on the 2000 Max
has no continuity so I move all the wires off of that and moved
them to other locations. Found a factory ground that looks
like it comes off the ECU and Headlight/turn lights/fogs boxes
on the driver side fender just behind the headlight. I connected
a wire from this ground point directly to the negative terminal of
the battery. The Max runs so smooth now, even itdood would
have to say it is better. haha

the thread was closed because it was getting OT as you were arguing your point. I will gladly clean up the thread and unlock it if you wish... Just keep the OT arguments away and keep things civil... that's all
