budget b or warpspeed b?

Any comments good or bad on either would be appreciated-
Fitment issues- Performance- Price- Sound- To resonate or not to resonate?
I received my new tips last week(keeping stock muffler) wanna
get one or the other-
Please help in this decision- do not wanna overpay for same performance
and dont want to buy a piece of shyt either- so i figure i would ask
those who would know more about it-

i believe that the budgetisaround the sameprice as the WSP but the budget is S.S. though the entire pipe is not S.S. some of the welds like to rust but you WSP may make a S.S. one.

Definitely go for resonated, to keep th enoise levels down. I'm going to keep the stock muffler too.

I'm curious about which one is better too. Budget b-pipe is SS, Warpspeed is aluminized steel.

I'm wondering about any fitment issues and sound quality?

yeah neither site explains much (specially the Budget)
but the WSP B= $170
Budget SS= $250-270

But I know the WSP comes in 2.25" outlet for ou stock mufflers
but it seems Budget only has a 2.5"- i dunno
I like the idea of SS but not if its not gonna line-up

Budget SS is $260 canadian from what I saw. With today's exchange rate, that's about $180 I think...

I got the Budget B-pipe 2.5 w/ resonator for $170 US shipped back in March 03 and as far as rust on the welds there are no signs of it. Fitment is not even an issue it bolted right, it also came with new nuts, bolts and gaskets. As far as sound, it sounds like a 3 series BMW under acceleration and I am still using my stock muffler.

I have the Budget b-pipe and I had no issues with it. I like the way the y- and b-pipe from Budget feel on my car. The welds are also stainless I believe. Either way I have never had an exhaust leak at a weld due to rust.

How much add'n horsepower/torque do you gain from a b-pipe?
I was seriously considering the cattman y-pipe, but from what I hear, not sure if it make any difference in the 02/03 max.

It will make a difference, but not in a relatively stock state of tune. The ECU needs some real work in order to fully maximize any of the big exhaust mods. Forced induction would make a difference as well.

Installed it myself. It comes in 2 pieces, one piece is a straight piece that comes w/ the MAGNAFLOW resonator, and the other is the actual B section. Bolt one piece at a time loosely until it lines up then tighten them all out. One more thing, there is a short bar towards the back of the car that looks like a brace, just in front of the rear axle that needs to be taken out so you can put some washers/spacers to give the larger pipe more clearance. I'm not as lucky I got an AUTO.

I installed it myself with no problems. The hardest part was losening the nuts on the cat. I used a shorter Nissan hanger instead of the OEM at the back of the b-pipe. I really like the way the car feels now. It pulls really hard around 4000 rpm.

I have the budget. $190 shipped to me. It took about 2.5 weeks to get the damn thing and they didn't send gaskets or bolts. I got resonated and had to be put on at a muffler shop. The straight pipe wasn't exactly straight and the flange knocked. Another hanger had to be welded on so it was no big deal. I have pics of it on my homepage. I would recommend it. I've heard WSP b's are pieces of shiot.

I have the Warpspeed Y, and had some fitment issues that had to be resolved too...

I'm wondering if anybody has the Warpspeed B-pipe on their 2k2-2k3 and can share their experiences?
