HKS vs GREDDY EVO CATBACK [[[[DETAIL VIDEO INSIDE]]]]

Alright everyone. This has been asked a lot lately, and Pioneer and I have gotten a LOT of PMs about this as well. I have the HKS and Pioneer has the Greddy. Look at the vid and make up your mind from there. I think we captured everything you would want to know.
If you have anymore questions just post them here and we, and everyone else who has either, will do our best to answer them.
Please no more PMs to me about this.

Merry Christmas

either one of you notice any difference in performance as compared to the stock exhaust?? I'm debating on the exhaust mod and (knowing that the 2K2/3 Maxima's exhaust is an adaptation from the Skyline GT-R R34) wonder if there's any real performance benefit.

Just curious.

Peace.

Great work! That covers all the bases for me. I like the sound of the HKS at lower RPMs. The runs from 70 and all that, they both seemed to sound the same... So I'd pick the HKS it sounds sweet.

F23A4 i'm not sure if this is mental or not, but i feel like the car has more torque than before on the low end. I seem to be able to break loose the tires easier than before, and it seems to pull harder from the low end (but this may just be mental because now i can hear the acceleration).
Hope that helps

Is that a full HKS catback.....and If so then where did you get it from?

No it's not a full catback. It connects after the B-pipe. That's why i'm surprised it sounds so good.
I got the pipe from, you'll get a kick out of this, Pioneer.

I've had about 50 or so PMs and about another 10-12 Emails asking for that HKS/Greddy Video. SO 2 days ago I told SORCEREUR, I got the Camera charged up, lets go make some Videos.
All Aspects are exactly the same, same location for both cars. Same Hwy Entry, Same Hwy Cruise Area, Same parking lot and same 50-80. Just tried to get a Even playing field.

Evo is Louder at 70-80 Cruise and has a Drone inside cabin
HKS Is not a full catback, just a B-Pipe back Muffler.

Don't mind the sounds of us talking, I was rushing and forgot to Mute that out

Next Up, Injen Vs No Intake

great video and work guys!

I like the looks of the HKS a lot more than the Evo, but is it just me or is the HKS alittle louder at most times than the Evo? I was always under the impression that the Evo was the loudest exhaust setup for a Maxima. But from the looks of the video, it seems that at several times the HKS's noise level is higher than that of the Evo. I'd like to see a comparison between the HKS and the Cattman exhuast system.

HKS Is louder for sure at low RPMS and when you take off. EVO Just Drones when it finally settles down to a Set Speed. 60+MPH

I see. Have either of you heard the Cattman exhaust system? If you have, how does it compare to either of the two you guys demonstrated with? Thanks for the help.

I just sold my 2000 and The HKS was a lot louder on that then the 02. I think its the size of motor and how it revs.

I think the HKS was louder on yours because of the Y pipe as well.

Love the video. Nice to hear the differences in two exhausts. I think they're both louder than my car, but it sounds good. Great job on the video!!

I got my HKS when it first came out from Stillen. Its always been hard to find. I sold mine to sorcereur when I sold my 2K and got the EVO for the 02.

I only have the HKS for now. I have maxspeeds and FSTB if u want to count that. My biggest performance mods are the Pirelly P7000 tires in 235/40/17
