One of you has a built 11.5 compression 3.5..
I was at the Capital of Texas Z show in Austin today, and SGP Racing out of Houston had a booth there. They had two rides there, one was a mid-90s 740-something HP twin-turbo Z, another was a mid-90s 540ish hp Z.
I got to talking with the guy about some of their internal VQ engine parts, an he said that he just finished building a VQ for a 2k2 Maxima that had 11.5 compression forged pistons, forged connecting rods, tomei cams, and a bunch of other stuff. The guy who owned the car was from California, and already had headers when he brought his ride in. He didn't dyno it because he wanted to break the engine in.
Is that someone from Maxima.org? It would be awesome if it was, and even more awesome if we could get more info what it's dynoing. If I could afford it, a normally aspiration built engine would rock.
BTW, he also said that he's done quite a few lower compression rebuilds, mostly for Zs.
