unable to drive fast

my 2k max constantly shakes when driving and wastes a lot of gas, could this be problems of fuel injection?

it could be, but it also could be alot of things. what kind of miles does it have? what service work has been done? is the check engine light on?

go to autzone and have the code pulled for free. its most likely ignition coil(s). 00 models have a problem with failing coils. do you know what service the car has received? first place to start is with the cel.

i have a 2K A/T with about 90,000 miles. recently i have noticed loss of power, in the 3rd gear. it's like the car runs out of torque. when in OD i floor it, i just don't feel it going like it used to. i changed the spark plugs at 66000 miles. any suggestions??

a cel is a check engine light, also known as service engine soon or ses. if your autozone wont pull the code then you need to take it a local mechanic or the dealer, whichever you are comfortable with. most likely one or more coils are bad would led to poor performance and mileage. another option is post in your regional forum and see if anyone around you has an OBD2 diagnostic tester. im sure someone would be willing to give you a hand if someone is close by. also, where were the plugs replaced at?

it might be getting close to time to look at replacing the fuel filter. nissan says it never has to be changed but i dont see how thats possible. im planning on replacing mine at 60k. also, what plugs were used at 66k? if you platniums then you should be alright but if you used copper then its time to change again. also cleaning the throttle body and making sure you have a clean air filter will help as well.
