Please help with removing a small annoying dent
Hi,
Man, I wish I had a digital camera...
Last night, an a-hole got out of a friggin taxi and pretty much rammed the door open against my passenger side front quarter panel. It left a quarter size dent that has yellow paint on it an inch off the wheel well. I thought that it cut through my paint, but it looks like only the yellow got on. I'm thinking that some compound will take the yellow off. But I'll need help with the dent.
It looks like if I can get to it, I can pretty much push this thing out. But getting to it is the problem. I tried getting a taped up flat screwdriver in there from under the wheel well, but although it gets close, it can't really reach.
Is there a way of getting to the edge of the front quarter panel (right by the wheel well). I see some screws there, and even though I took the 2 screws off, nothing moved. I think if I just get there it will come out.
If you think that someone should professionally do this, please let me know. And let me know how much you think it would cost, and if you could recommend a place in Queens, New York.

$75 at the most
I took my car to a company called Dent Wizards. They do paintless dent removals and then buff it out. Looks like it was never there. I think this might be a local (S. Jersey) company but I'm sure you have a company like that up your way.

Definatley do a pro job, Dent Wizard, PDR, Dent Doctor someone wil do it. A little know fact amongst the non-pro dent guys is your dent is actually not a low spot but a high spot caused by the distortion. Sooo, pushing it out with a screwdrive will just screw it up worse.

I know it stinks without the pictures.
I went to a local bodyshop who says I shouldn't do anything to it. He says that if he does it, he will have to repaint it. From what everyone is telling me, I definitely should not do anything that requires repainting.
Since you guys know your maximas so well, you'll have to imagine this:
The dent lies right above the passenger wheel well. If you can picture your maxima, there is a line that outlines the wheel well about an inch from it. That's where the ding is. It's right on that line. So my whole thing was that if I can somehow push the dent out, I think it wouldn't look too bad. But the guy at the body shop said that he would have to paint it. He was good enough to suggest not to do anything, especially because the ding won't rust.
Let me know what you think, and if there is actually a way for me to get to the dent myself and give it a try.
