Hello I'm thinking of going with 18" rims with my max. All the cars that I see here on the org have 17" or 16". So all 2k max owners who have 18"s please post a pick on this thread.... Thanks

I have 18 inchers on one of my Maxes, but I don't reccomend it especially if it is lowered. It really makes the ride harsher than I expected since some cars with 20 inchers are nice and smooth. I don't have a picture yet, but you can go to: http://www.tirerack.com/mycar/basefr...ssan&year=2001 and see how it will look.

P.S. ASA IS6 wheels look close to O.Z. F1 Cup and are much cheaper.

Please. Do your Maxima a favor and get 18 inch wheels. The ride isn't that bad. 17s are for little cars. 18s are for Maximas. Even now I feel that my 18s are too small. I do not have any rubbing, knocking or anything. Once I can figure out how to post pictures, I will. Give me a few days

What's up with the pics?

Out of all the 5th geners here, not one posted a pic. Not alot of exterior mods with the 5th gens I guess. Speaking of exterior mods, does anyone know if there going to start making new wings/spoilers for the 5th geners? Thanks ,

Tom

4 rino_2kmax, Communication lines must be down.....

I'm not talking to the people who posted on this tread. Because if you posted, then you obviously have exterior mods. I'm talking about all the other 5th geners who didn't post. I'm guessing they didn't post due to them having stock rims. Sorry if you thought I was talking about you, because I wasn't.

Lowered and photoshopped yellow

Not lowered and stock GXE

another stock GXE with 18x7s

Slightly modified GXE
[b]
I want 18x8s if not 19x8s...I really don't like how there's still about an inch of depth between the fender and the rim... as you can tell in this picture...

You can tell that the rim doesn't go all the way to the fender...partyl offset, partly rim depth. Oh well. It's good that i never rub, but...it's not as nice as it could be...
Sorry for the massive amounts of pictures.

Thanks SCCA

Hey Scca,

Your car looks sweet. I can't believe it's stock. Thanks for posting the pics. I could care less if it took up space. You 18 are fine. If it's not the width it's the height. I'm never satisfied with what I buy also. I was thinking of getting 19" but I'm really worried about the ride quality. That's why I posted this thread. I wanted to see if 18" look fine. And by you car they do. Thanks for the post... Tom

Definitely 18 or better...

I have 18's and wouldn't go with anything smaller. Here are some pics.
