I just noticed this tonight. After I back my car up, when I move from R to 1st gear and then start to move my car I hear a very low banging noise. Similar to when cv joints make a popping sound, but it seems to be coming from the transmission. Is this normal or no?

 

Please someone help!!

 

i get that too sometimes...especially when i'm up hill

 

Wierd, yeah aside from that the car runs perfect. Maybe it is normal.

 

unplug the trans sensor see how hard it bangs!!!

Mine does that, but only when i do it when the car is rolling too fast in reverse. If i come to a complete stop or very near it, it doesnt.

 

What is a trans sensor?
