run in with a Grand Am

Today I was driving to school in my 03 GLE, When I came up behing a red Grand Am GT with a Calvin sticker pi$$ing on the word "Japan". This guy had cheap rims, shi**y sounding exaust and chromatic window tint, so he thought he was bad a$$. As luck would have it I was able to pull up beside him on the next light. I shifted into 2nd and waited to see what he would do. When the light turned green, he gunned it. Needless to say, I thought I had to show this guy how shi**y Grand Ams are. I forgot to turn off the TCS, so I did not get a good start, and he pulled on me in the beginning. Within 1 block I was 4 car lengths on him, and I let up. I do not promote street racing, but I thought this guy needed to see what Jap cars can do. I am not proud of beating a Grand Am, and if it weren't for the sticker, I would have let him continue to play the "cool guy". I just felt this guy needed a lesson.

Donkey, you must have that gay sign bound to a button on your keyboard. Whenever you try to type the letter "x" or something, it must come up

umm... speaking of "starting a race in 2nd on a 6spd" a few days ago as I was pulling up to a red light in my 6spd, I noticed a newer Mitsubishi Galant GTZ with "the works" we are talking loud *** exhaust, yellow, red, green and blue stickers covering most of the cars black color. As soon as I pulled up besides him he revs it hard! now since i normally never street race i hadnt even downshifted all the way to 1st and just sat there in 2nd and the light turns green... while i was chatting with my buddies having a good laugh at the mitsu i totally forgot about still being in 2nd but luckily i reved the engine a bit before letting up on the clutch and the car took off... needless to say within a block I had atleast 4-5 car lengths on him...

I had a 6 cylinder 2001 Grand Am GT before I got my Max...there's no comparison. The Grand Am handles 10x better but in terms of torque and speed it's not even close to the Max.

You guys are whimps... I shift it directly into 1st... hit the Rev limitter 5-6 times, then if I'm in a good mood, I slide it into 2nd

Who needs 3rd or OD anywayz?...

TCS is the first thing that goes off when I step in!
