Question about heat underneath the Max

I've recently noticed that my Max produces a lot of heat from underneath the rear passenger section of the car. I have been pushing the car once in a while but I never noticed the amount of heat before. Is there a problem or am i just trippin?

Also, my friend and I rotated my tires about a 500+ miles ago and I noticed that when I start to break or if I go between 60mph and 70mph, the steering wheel starts to shake a bit. Is this the rotors or do I need an alignment?

Thanks in advance for your replies....

Steering wheel shaking means you need an alignment...Try to watch out for those potholes...I hate them myself...

If your car pulls to the left or right while driving or you notice your tires wearing unevenly, then you need an alignment. You mentioned a shake in your steering wheel between 60-70 mph after rotating tires. Most likely just need those tires balanced. Out of balance tires are more noticeable on the front than on the rear. One of your rear tires must have been a little out of balance and now rotated to the front you notice the shake.

everything ahaling said is right. it would only be the rotors if you hit the break on highway speeds and the steering wheel shakes. if it just shakes around highway speeds then you need to have the tires balanced. as far as the heat, its hard to say. ive got some header wrap on parts of my exhaust and i noticed that i dont feel the heat as much standing beside it. even during winter, the exhaust will get extremely hot so i wouldnt think anything of it.
