Personal opinion, but black rims always look like one of two things...Knightrider OR government fleet steel wheels. Gunmetal just always look dirty.

On sterling mist, Gunmetal rims would be a killer. It'll look incredible. Not dirty looking unless you're a female and just don't give a rat's booty about cars.

i got a sterling mist 2k2 6spd with stock 7 spokes and i plan on getting silver with machined lip rims... well if i ever do...

gun metal looks dirty and black (to me at least) only looks good on brightly colored cars or multi-color cars (e.g. touring and race cars).

Check out wheels in hyper-black. Not as dark as gunmetal and not as bright as silver. Great contrast for a Sterling Mist Max! IMHO

yeah gun metal would look hot on your car... unless you can get silver chrome+performance wheels, I would go with gun metal...

I think these are a cool color. They're hyper-black, or anthracite color, or something like that.

My friend has these same wheels on his silver Subaru WRX and they look pretty sweet.

They're definitely not gunmetal. I think Flik (the wheel maker) calls them "Anthracite". They look very unique in person. You can get them from edgeracing.com

If I ever upgrade from OEM wheels, I'll probably look at the Flik Lex wheels first.

If you get them, take a pic and post here so I can see what they look like on a Max
