Splash Guards

Has anyone taken off the Splash Guards on their Maxima? Reason I am asking is everytime I look at the rear of the Max, The tires look so small and it looks out of proportion. With 225/50/17's on there the car still looks to wide for the tires. I can't afford new tires and rims just yet but was wondering how it would look without the spash guards on it? Would it look more proportionate, like a BMW, Audi, VW ? Anyone with pics, would be appreciated!!

I've taken mine off. I'll try to email you some pics later.

Rear wheel looks less recessed without guards.

Mine are off - the car just looked to "heavy" to me with them on (personal opinion). Check the sig and my homepage to wee what it looks like.

So far, it doesn't look like a BMW...

Pics

Does anyone have Pics of the rear with the splash guards off. A straight on view? Trying to see if the tires actually look good without the splash guards on the car!!
