Good News 3.5 Owners!

Well, we've gotten our project Altima in now, and we have started on making the kit. In about 6-8 weeks we will have a finished product and then at that time we will need a maxima to come down so we can make the kit fit on the VQ35DE Equipped 5th/6th Gen maxima.

I am willing to take my car to El Cajon, but I think in my personal opinion , the price you quoted is too much for an experimental kit. You say you are only charging for parts , but I asked a few friends who work with SC's and Turbos, and they said it was a lot. I wish the best to this project. If it works , I might get it. Keep us posted !

Just out of curiosity would you compare some similar kits for me? Put together an HKS or Greddy or APEXi or Blitz kit using the following parts
-Turbo
-SS Manifolds
-Intercooler (polished)
-BOV
-Injectors x 6
-Downpipe SS304
-Fuel Management
-FPR
-Air Filter
-Intercooler Piping
-Fuel return / oil lines
-Couplings and hoses etc.
-Wastegate
Here I'll just give you guys an example so you won't have to.
Greddy
11520091 300ZX T/T 1990-96 TD05 $6,454.55
Includes - Twin Turbos, SUS Mani, DownPipe, 2WG Type-S, piping, hoses oil lines and misc. hardware.
Now where's the injectors? Wheres the intercooler? Where's the fuel management? Let's be fair and subtract lets say 1000$ for the price of one Wastegate and one turbo so we are at 5454.55

Now lets add on an intercooler, bov, and fuel management
-12020200 300ZX T/T 1990-96 (3) Type 14R 2x SL $1,318.18
-11501650 Type S Universal $227.27
-15500550 e-Manage (main unit) $379.00
-13500055 550cc $136.36 x 6

Grand total of...*drum roll*
$8194

Blitz
FORMULA KIT (bolt-on kit)
-Stainless steel equal length tubular manifold
-External wastegate
-Street trim turbo
-Complete downpipe, air filter, piping
-RX-7 FD3S Single Turbo Kit 13B-REW K27 $5000.00

Do you guys see where I'm coming from with this? I'm sorry I can't compromise my work with less quality. But it's top notch and I stand by it 100% along with my full 1-year warranty against manufacturer defaults. And I feel my prices are more then fair.

Just because its named HKS or Greddy or Blitz or Jun or APEXi doesen't mean its worth the extra 2000$. All my stuff is guaranteed, and you can compare craftsmanship with your own eyes.

Yes it will work good on the automatic tranny, also producing a lower safer number so your trannies can hold up.

I my freakin gawd. I want tttttttttuuurbbbbbboooooo.
That's a damn good price. Is that going to be the production price or just for the experimentee? You say a lower, safer number for autos so it will be less than 350? Any projected numbers for that? Why do you rock so much?

For the autos, get a VB mod, tranny cooler, it should hold up ok. There are people with blowers on auto 3.0's that are pushin over 300 hp to the crank, right? With tranny coolers and VB mod, I dont see why us Automagics couldnt push 350 hp

ok guys, this is great news! There's an Alti in shop right now. So soon, we'll see an actual dyno number on what the engine will make. Also, we'll see a close approximation on what it will cost. So, whoever lives over there, scrape your pennys together and make arrangments with another car you've got a month and a half. i can't inderstand why the alti guys can always seem to get it together and we cant.

People that purchase from AZ are eligible for discounted installation prices due to state taxation reasons.

Build it and WE will come. You don't need to justify the price.

Then what do you mean "discounted installation prices"? Drive to Cali to get it installed at a discount?

Nice! I found their website: http://www.hpautoworks.com/, but where are they located?

Honestly, I don't care about the price...just quality/reliabilty bar-none, however I still have a warranty holding me back for now. That's soon going to change, so I'm "lining up my ducks" now.

Probably less boost, ie 275-300hp range. However, that's all a boost controller *click*click*click* away from whatever you can handle.
