ECU, headers, cams, nitrous......eh?

The G35C or sedan w/6spd would be sweet, however I can't see justifying the hit.

Good luck though!

Now that I have seen pictures of the production Stealin headers these Cattman headers put them ina distant second place. Hopefully the production Cattman headers will look as good as they do in the photo.

Those ARE production headers. He has batches made at a time, not just one and he's said they are on the shelf ready to ship.

Unless you're talking about the 2K2+ headers, which aren't going to be out for a LOOOOONG time.

The Cali spec aren't going to be any different as long as the FRONT Cali 02-sensors reach the Fed locations.

The rears are the only ones that need to be moved FOR SURE, but he can't incorporate that into the design. They MUST be located down-stream of the main cat, ie in the B-pipe.

My advice is to have a local muffler shop weld in two 02-bungs in your b-pipe NOW. Then extend the 02-sensor wires(3-each?) and relocate the 02s to those new bungs. By then someone should have installed the headers and you can order and install them.

i thought on a cali spec the rear O2 sensors were b4 the cat not in the b pipe...... i know my 2 O2 sensors are on the y pipe right b4 the main cat.

That's correct, however the headers eliminate the front precats, so you have to move the rear 02s behind the main cat, ie b-pipe, to keep the ECU happy.

Same thing people did for the Cali-Fed converison. Check for DesertPearl's post in the How-To's.

hes talking about the STILLEN HEADERS for the 2k2. i sent him pics of the headers that i received on wed........waiting to get installed. cattman headers do look rather appealing compared to the stillen ones. but too bad they aint for the 3.5l .... either way i look at it gettin rid of my rattle in the front pre cat is worth the $900+ considering nissan quoted $1307 to reaplace the front pre cat (said that my RT high flow caused too much air flow which caused the honeycomb inside to "break away" WTF......) ill post impressions of the header/y-pipe combo when the install is complete!

brian what is the diameter of the outlet at the cat end of the y-pipe?
what diameter is each indiviual tube.... i want to say that there might not be a big difference. i have the stillen headers sittin around right now if u have any questions. i would post pics but hosting them is a pain.....

will

I have not seen $tillens instructions yet But I hope to today. According to Will they charged him $50 more than the price of $840 given earlier. This is because they were having problems with a CEL after their 1st install in Costa Mesa. Now they are shipping the package with a box that splices a wire into the wiring from each of the o2 sensors after the pre's. I suppose the box will have to be mounted somewhere in the bay... Anyway this is their work around, not relocating the sensors.

I think the way they're handling this is . For a price of $900 they expect you to splice O2 wires which in reality the kit should come with OEM connectors on both sides.

I don't know if this is a temporary work around they are using to help fill commitments for orders that have been placed and future versions will be done differently or not. Only time will tell.

Do you know how reliable these o2 signal generators are? Is there a potential for the engine to start running very rich or lean given the ecu is always trying to make adjustment based on these readings?

And Ice I read through this twice, if I missed it let me know. I don't see where Brian said these are production and he's ready to ship. His web page hasn't been updated showing these yet either...

Also anyone know where Ethan is? I'm surprised he hasn't chimed in yet.

downstream O2 sensors are not used to monitor A/F ratios... only if the upstream sensors are bad, they are used.
