I'm considering moving up from my 4th gen to a 5th gen.. I'd really love a 2k2 but not sure if i can swing it.

Just wondering what you guys paid for your used 2k2-2k3s and with what milage and options...

I bought my used '02 SE Auto with 26K in Ohio for $17,500 in Feb '03.
Options:
Auto, Non-Bose, Cloth interior.
This car turned out to be an Enterprise Rental Car retiree.
The asking price was $19,500, but I used to work at the dealership where I purchased it, so my old boss gave me a pretty good deal I feel.
Plus they knocked off $1K from the extended warranty price.

I'm pretty happy with the deal.

they were asking 26.7k for it, igot it for 20k.

 

I got my 02 SE Bone stock except Sunroof with 21K miles for everything with tags title and fees for $18900. I was happy with my deal.

 

damn...a couple grand more u guys coulda gotten those ***** new and peace of mind knowing they weren't raped to shiet....

 

Just got mine in August. 2K2 6 speed. 32,xxx miles, only option was sunroof, I paid 17K but I bought an extended warranty.

 

Or you cuold lose $10,000 the first year you own your new one? $17,500 is a bit more than a few grand less than a new one.

 

homie, dunno bout u, but I paid $23k for my 03 SE with TE and sunroof w/ 11 miles.....

 

2k2 6 speed in March, 2003 for $17.5 22K miles, sunroof, tinted windows, Nissan all weather floor mats. Car was babied and tires showed almost no wear at all. I thought the deal was fair. Sticker was like 27.5 and he paid 24xxx. So I think I did ok. Car has 30K miles on it now and is flawless.

 

2k2 auto with 11k on it, bought last May for 18.5k.
I also was tired of the big hit from being the first to title a car. No problems.

 

Got mine about 2 months ago now. 02 6spd, Bose changer, no leather. $16,5 24K miles. Came of a Nissan 2 year lease and had a chick owner.

 

Bought my 2K2 6-speed in Jan 03 from a private seller....18K miles, leather, heated seats & wheel, Bose, navigation w/ discs for all regions, tinted rear windows, clear bra, Valentine One hardwired, all services via Nissan dealership (had paperwork for all services & TSBs done), and a current diagnostic from a dealership showing there were no problems....for $20,500

 

Just bought a 2k2 Max SE about 10 days ago. 26K, paid $17,665. Does not include taxes, tags, extended warranty.

STICK with your 4th gen bro.. your car is much better than the 5th gens.... i regret switchin to 5th gen... my next car will be a g35 soon

 

17.5k vs 23k that seems to be a little more than a couple grand...

 

If I'm spending 20 for a used one, I'll spend 23 for a new one. but If i'm spending 17 for a used one, 23K+ is way out of range !!! I'ld say if you are beyond 3K on New Vs Used, then get Used.

 

true but I do wish I could find a fully loaded with navi and low miles for 20k.

I just bought mine in mid August, 2k2 w/ 25k on it at the time. Its just a base SE with a few options not much though. I went to Manheim Auto Auction here in PA and picked it out of the 70 they had to choose from. I paid $15,800 out the door w/ tax. So far I'm happy...I really only needed the car for a year or so but I like It and will probably end up keeping it longer.

 

I paid 21 for a 2k3 SE TE 6SPEED with Every thing but Nav, it had 11k miles in August and I had a trade

If you had a2002, you would have a different opinion...not trying to knowck the 2K or 2K1, tho.

 

i bought a 2002 6 speed SE everything on it besides leather (sunroof/6 cd changer/cargo nets, etc.) for 17,999 with around 21K on it.

i LOVE it

 

Got mine in skokie, IL. for $20,000 in Dec. of 02 with 22,000 miles on it. Its has Leather, heated seats, sunroof, and I got a aint-rust package for life of the car.

 

You know I wonder if that Anti Rust is somthing they do to all cars in IL. I got mine about 50miles from chicago and that thing has a thick coat of Anti rust on the underbody.

 

umm how do you know if you have ani rust or not?? and where can i get it and how much??

Mine was bargined in because they were not trying to go down on this price and I was going to to to their competitor to buy another Maxima, so they through it in for free. They also have this other fake crap that you apply on every 6 months but that stuuf is crap and it dose not come with a lifetime warantty. You get this from the dealship, well at least that were I go mine. Good luck.

 

On the original sticker it had 699 for anti rust undercoating. and Looking at my Green 2000, this is some thick stuff they sprayed on the car.

 

hmm expensive....ill ask the dealer tomorrow...o and one more question.
Does it look like something clear covering the underbody...or what is it?

I got my 2k2 SE auto w/25k mi,non Bose and cloth for $16,900 about 6 months ago. I was really pumped considering I almost bought a 49k mi 2k SE auto with one of the worst 1-2 shifts I've ever felt for $14,900. A BIG step from a 94 Acura Integra RS w/140hp non torque making motor and I got HID's

Got my 2k2 GLE on long ago w/ 27k for $18,000

 

Got my 2K2 stock SE in July '03. 8200 miles, Nissan Certified (extended powertrain warranty) with balance of factory warranty for $18.7K. Found paperwork in glovebox & talked to original owner before purchase, so was pretty comfortable about vehicle condition. If I can track down rattle in driver's side wheel well, I'll be extremely satisfied.
