Guy's, help me out!!!

I'm still experiencing weak accelaration and my engine still sounds loud ever since i ran my gas tank low. Today i'll try to dump some fuel injector cleaner in to see if it works. For future reference, when should i refill my tank to prevent this from happening again? If the fuel injector cleaner doesen't work, should i take it to the dealer and will it be under warranty? How much gas should be in my tank when i dump in the injector cleaner, any brands suggested? Got 46,000 miles on a 2000 SE auto
Thanx alot

I usually use Chevron fuel injector cleaner. Go inside the store and grab the small bottle...... good for 3000 miles...... which means that if you have 46k miles, you should have done it 15 times already!

Could be a clogged fuel filter stopping/inhibitting the flow of fuel. In which case injector cleaner isn't going to help.

once ur tank gets to 1/4, fill her up. on the TL, the gas acts as a lubricant for the fuel pump which is inside the tank. if it goes to low, it wont be able to lubricate it. it MIGHT be the same for the max.
