5 speed 2k GXE

guys,

I am new to this forum and have familiarized myself with it. I have tried to search (including 1/4mile forum but its under construction) to see what 0-60 and 1/4 mile times a stock 2k 5 speed GXE does, but could not find any info. I am going to purchase a 2k 5spd gxe for 12k with 41k miles on it...i was going to purchase an integra gsr; however, i figured maxima has best of both worlds in performance and ride luxury. Also, i am planning on doing some basic low budget bolt-ons to it, so im guessing intake/y-pipe would be the best bet for the money/perfromance? if not, i would definitely appreciate your inputs..also what would be the 1/4 mile times after the intake/y-pipe? i understand that for every car its different, but i just wanted to know the "ideal" times.
again, i have tried search, but could not find exact details..so i m trying to ask you guys humbily. thanks!

Holy crap you actually found a 5 speed gxe? I looked fairly hard for one last year. I had some at least one dealer tell me they simply didn't exist, but I was reasonably certain they did. Needless to say, a very hard find and I was forced to buy an SE.

Anyhow in regards to 1/4 it's going to be essentially the same as the SE. I am not sure if the tires are as wide, but since the wheels on the gxe are likely a touch smaller (can't remember if they're 15s or 16s, but many SEs have 16s), that will reduce rotational acceleration a tiny amount and give you a slight jump. Basically though SE numbers = GXE numbers, since the transmission, engine, and overall weight are the same. I'm glad you're not buying an acura as well Have fun! Sorry I can't help on the mods - I do know that a y-pipe is a common first step.

tried using the search? I think 5 speeds hit 15.1 to 15.5 depending on driver. A good 0 - 60 is right under 7.
