Which should i buy

I can get these rims which are 18x8 5-100/114.3 Konig Verdict 40mm offset or a pair of H4 6000k dual beam HIDs. each are going to cost me right at $500. I really need new tires so i am going to have to pay for mounting and balancing anyways so i might as well get rims to. I also have problems seeing in east texas when i go to my girlfriends farm at night. It is a three hour drive from houston but i getty butty and can drink beer, shoot guns(no drinking allowed), and ride horses...It is so much fun but it seems pretty country but whatever. anyways which should i get.

my vote is for the rims. If you can't see at night maybe you should get your eyes checked out (i'm not trying to be a smartass. )

the night vision is not a problem it is just hard to see **** like an armadillo from 200 yards. The lights on my 01 are just not bright enought. it is not like the 02-04's

I "HAD" the same problems deciding. I opted for the rims since its a more noticable appearance upgrade. Rim can make or break the look of the car.

BUT make sure b4 you clunk down a bunch of $$$$$$$$$$. you get what you like... not because its cheap or "ok/good deal" cuz the worst thing to do is settle on soemthing and later on say DAMN... i wish i got these rims instead. anyways, HID are pretty, great light output, but only showy at night.

RIMS totally change the look of the car.

PS. I am now looking for HID's to put on.

Good Luck,
Anthony

What up go for the blinging rims and hide some bright f-ing driving lights on the front, but tuck em so you can't notice and then you'll have the best of both worlds.

Dude, rims will only change your looks but HIDs will change your life. My Max is the first car I've ever had with them and I'll never go back. Not only can you see armadillos at 100 yards, (or possums as we have in Virginia) it's really cool to turn all the cars in front of you purple.

I say go for the rims/tires. Winter is coming and you need good tires. But make sure that you get wheels that you really like.

i am going for the rims. I just placed my bid on discount tires ebay auction site for these brand new rims. I have to wait till the 10/17 to find out if i have won. if not i will get the HIDs and say screw the rims. I was debating on these rims but they are such a good deal i cant pass them up plus i really like these. Now if i win i will have to get some rubbers(hahaha) for them. should i go with 235 or 245(width) for the tires.
