Has anyone put '04 SE OEM wheels/tires on a '03 SE? Got pics?

Ok, I'm a new 2003 SE Maxima owner. Love the car. BTW, very nice forum.

OK, I admit it. I like the '04 wheels. I wouldn't mind putting some on my '03 SE. As many might agree, I think they are a little more stylish and aggressive than my stock '03s. I suppose I could do an aftermarket wheel, but I'm a little on the conservative side and I like the '04 style.

Anyone have pics of a 5th gen Maxima with '04 wheels/tires? Will I have problems with sizing issues, such as offset, sizing, bolt configuration, spedometer, etc.?
Any info would be great!

Thanks,
R

I would imagine that those would slow down the car a lot! don't do it!

I went from OEM 15" ones to OEM 17", and my car felt like I had attached cinderblocks and was towing a boat (not that bad, but you get the idea)

I went aftermarket with 17" Konig Tantrums later...muuuuch better.

Why? There are so many aftermarket wheels that would look much better on the Maxima.

I was told by my dealer when I bought my Max that the 18" '04 wheels would fit on my '03 Max. But I would agree with the other in that they're probably very heavy...

I'm sure you can find some conservative looking aftermarket wheels which are much lighter...

Good luck

They are heavier and I wouldnt do it, they style is very similiar to the 03 SE's rims just an inch larger. 17's on a Maxima is plenty and tires are already expensive enough to replace 18's it just gets more and more!
