took it to track w/drop register mod

well i ran 10 times today at the track of those runs 4 i did drop register mod and got the best times but then again those were my 4 lsat runs so engine just probably warmed up to it but i went from averagin 14.9 last week and todays best stock was 14.709 heres the #'s:


R/T - 0.656
60' - 2.109
330 - 6.104
1/8 - 9.410
MPH - 75.02
1000 - 12.278
1/4 - 14.709
MPH - 93.75

Pretty good 60' time there...you've got mid 14's in your future once you perfect the launch.

That is bad *** R/T time. That is sweet. Mine R/T 1.280 and 1/4 14.666 MPH 94.10. It's a good 1/4 but ****ty R/T time. I saw you run with it. you did good out there.

Do you feel any power difference from the drop resistor mod. Anyone know what the difference between this and the jet performance chip reprogramming?

The drop resistor mod doesn't actually give you any more HP than you already have. It just makes the shift for auto's quicker.

You do know that RT is not accounted for in 1/4 mile times, right?

thomasd cook, the drop resistor mod is just un plugging a connection. do a search and you will find the picture someone took so you can see exactly where it is. this is not a hp gain but a time gain. when you finish the search come back here and let me know what you think about it..i've tried it and it shifts a lil harsh for everyday driving..

i dont htink that drop register mod helped much since i was runnin 14.8-14.9 consistently i just had better grip with my potenzas on that 14.7 you really cant feel that hard shift from 1-2 when your floorin it at the track

seriously, i drove it last night and my place racing cold air popped out of the clamp, as well as my left headlight corner bulb, im not saying the drope resistor did this but dam it never happened before
