Dyno results for October 11th
Dyno results for October 11th
02 Auto
218.1 whp 228.0 tq
224.6 whp 233.6 tq
223.8 whp 236.3 tq
The numbers are actually a little higher than I expected from my last dyno of 211whp and 224tq. I have since switched the pop intake to the GAB, and added a test pipe and HKS rear section. My car seems to be making good power.
Ice SR20 has the files on disk and I asked him to send them to you. I will also scan the sheet up as soon as I get a chance.
Mods: WSP y and B pipe, UDP, GAB, HKS rear

nice numbers though. Just curious, how much did it cost/how many runs? a bunch of local guys just did some dyno runs today.

sorry Matt, your dyno thread.
loving the numbers, not far behind a VQ30 with a 3.3" pulley. very impressive
theres a lot of controversy about cat removal and power gain from it, but im almost positive that on the 3.0, removal of the cat does yield a significant improvement(significant meaning enough so that its not negligable). Your numbers without the cat, seem to prove that theory, of course on a 3.5, like your car, the same removal seems to increase the numbers more so than on a 3.0.
My car dynoed 181hp, 180tq, and that was with only a intake and a ypipe, and looking at other peoples dynos with similar mods but also with the cat removed, there seemed to be an average of 5hp, 5tq more on the cars that had the cat removed.

uh????? if its the HKS rear SECTION then it is the whole replacement of the stock muffler. i have the 2.5" dual tips. i think the inlet for the HKS is 2.25" or 2.5"
will

The best was a turbo m3 that put down 498 and 481 torque at 18 psi and then on low boost 12 lbs he did a spray run but at 3500 rpms he got dangerously lean 18:1 a/f and had to shut down. At 3500 rpms he had 399whp and 598ft lbs tq.
No, I was talking to MrGone, blu. He's local to me. In fact, I just saw him the first time today. Nice to meet you, Shawn.
