CustomMaxima's Triple Gauge Pod?

Already done a search...very limited pics. Anyone have the triple gauge pillar installed with pics? Preferably grey, but would settle for any color at this point. Thanks.

I returned mine. The color was way off and the fit was in need of some adjustment!! You be the judge! I have about 10 pix if you need some extra!?!?

Do a search for the pillar. There was a long thread about it. Good Luck!

What exactly didn't fit? I agree the color is off. Debating if I should get it (since other options are limited) or just match the paint myself. Got a few more pics?

There is no hole for the tweeter but they say you cut it out and then pop your factor tweeter grille piece over it.....

Id like to know more about why it didnt fit or match color?

I got one in grey too. And when they mean grey they mean grey, It's way darker then the frost that I have. I will take some comparison pics tommorrow.

I posted my concerns about this a while back and custommaxima responded with something like... they have problems in the past, but have since corrrected it - meaning that the color should be right on.

That's just what they said, don't take my word for it.

First Off, I would like to say that customer service @ custommaxima is just plain . When I tried to return it they gave me the big run around etc... then asked if I would like a store credit! LOL Yeah right and I like paid with a Platinum Card there genius!! Give me a credit! What a hassle. As for:

Fit:
1.You will need to custom "trim" top and bottom to get it to fit perfectly.

2. You will need to either attach it to your existing pillar or velcro/tape it up or something.

3. And you will need to dremel or cut a hole for your tweets and the rip/grind your existing tweeter grille out and glue it on or some $hit.

Color:
1. Grey as in Chevy Interior Grey!! As in PRIMER color!!!

2. Texture is right on. With some custom paint etc... it would work out. I just didnt think I should invest paint into something that was "Custom made to match your interior"

Really just my $.02. I really wanted this mod bad but returned everything the pod, gauges etc... because I new that it would never be right!

Thanks for the info, some org members said they have since fixed the problem. I guess I'll be the guinea pig and see what happens...you win some and you lose some. I'll be sure to post pics and comments once received. Thanks again, point well taken.

Triple Gauge Pod

I got the Triple gauge pod and love it. The color difference I did not think was that much off that it stood out. I have pics on my site, if you want to check it out. I think it makes the Max look tough!
