Going from a 90-92 Stanza or early 90's altima to a 2000 maxima

Has anybody gone from the 90-92 stanza to the 2000-2001 maxima. Besides the fact that their is obviously more power. What differences did you notice. Im planning to get a 2000 se max with the 16inch wheels. Is their more body roll in the max vs the stanza. Any observations are welcome.

Well I drove a 93 sentra from 01 to 02 until I bought my 00 SE. I still have the sentra as a second car, but it's quite a step up You're going to notice the maxima better in all ways except for gas mileage!

have to disagree with SkoorbMax. I had a 93 sentra since 01 till the end of 02 and then got the 5spd Maxima. damn, was that a step up! looked more like a floor up (lame joke, i know...). Anyway, as SkoorbMax said EVERYTHING is better even gas milage. My sentra had a messed up air flow meter, so i was getting about 18 miles a gallon. that's the least i get in my max. the best so far - 24 (half of it one freeway).

I had a 1990 Stanza- and wish I never sold the car. No matter what I did to that car it would not die. The only problem I had was that there were limited mods available to it. I did sell the car to a friend of mine and its still alive and well. I went to a 2000 Mitsubishi Elipse GT before I bought my current 2k1 Maxima SE. Other than the physical difference (size, weight, etc.) and difference in power the cars are both awesome products (IMO). Although there is the power difference, I felt that my old Stanza actually had some pretty good pull when it was needed (considering it was a 4 cylinder). Anyways, that's my 2¢. Good luck with the 2k.

that doesn't sound right

I was looking last weekend at cars to replace the sentra and driving back from test driving some I decided to keep it. The thing has been incredibly reliable and it gets an average of about 30 mpg. It's a 5 speed also and it's no rocket, but it does have speed when I need it, for the most part. I've had it doing 110 and it would have done a bit more
