I was thinking about DTM Tips but when i brought it up with a friend he said that sometimes the exhaust out of DTM style tips will stain the paint on the bumper because of the tips being pointed upwards...is this true?

 

Yes, it's happened to at least one person on here.

 

very true. especially if you plan to take out a few cats.. oh they do have the self adhesive aluminum guards that go above tips on bumpers to prevent that. but many wouldn't liek that look.. but if i were to go with dtm's i'de rock that, i think they go well together.. it basically looks like a peice of tin foil nicely taped above the tips.. i say it gives it the "sporty" look.. not neccesarily "ricey"
