New Brake setup problem...

I did a search and no results.

Does anyone with aftermarket pads and aftermarket rotors notice sort of a groaning sound coming from the brakes when applied? It sounds fine at first but when the brakes are applied for a long period of time(coming down from high speeds) I hear a groaning but not really a grinding sound coming from the front. I have Hawk pads and Stillen Cross-drilled all around. Thanks for the help guys.

I
with harsher metalic aftermarket pads and cross drilled/slotted rotors, it's always going to give off more noise than stock brakes. i think that's what you're hearing, as long as you're not picking up vibrations.
