Service Engine light

Service Engine light
I had my service engine light come on 3 times already on my 2000 Maxima. Since I'm covered under warranty, they fixed it for free. One time it was the oxygen sensor. Another time it was something else. Now this third time, I don't know what it is. I'm wondering if there's a serious problem with my car and the dealer is not doing the repair correctly. Has any of you dealt with this? I only have 38,000 miles on the car so far.

Probably not...
Probably not... some people on the org just have bad luck with their cars.
I myself have only had a few things malfunction from the dealer... moisture in the headlamp (warranty), warped front rotors (bought cross-drilled aftermarket), dead battery, missing gas cap (heh)...
If you want, buy an OBD II code reader... once your warranty runs out, you won't have to pay to read the SES codes.
Try this one :

It'll work for any other car in the US from 96 - up as well (at least, it's supposed to, I just ordered one)

I currently have 49K on my 2000. I had the B-1 rear O2 sensor replaced at 36,955. Thankfully, the dealer covered this even though my warranty expired.
