I combined the OSCAI with the K&N drop in, and WOW!!
#1
First of all, I got the K&N from my local Advanced Auto Parts. I was really surprised they have it.
Anyway, When I added the K&N to the OSCAI, it made a big difference. It now makes a very subtle nice cute rumble to 3000 rpm. Sounds very high tech.
OSCAI with the K&N makes a big difference. It definetley has more low end torque. I'm in a college town, so I drive on the same roads EVERY SINGLE DAY . So I am very aware of the car's power on the same roads, before and after a mod.
IF you havent' done this mod yet, do it!
it is a must.
the filter was $49.99.
and I have a tip. You know how the filter keeps slipping out of the panel because it is not an exact fit? Well, I used fishing line to tie the filter to the panel, and then I put it into the intake box. It works great.
And Thanks Paul2kGXE for the instruction!
