dropped candy into my windshield defrosting vent...how do i get it out??
uhhh.....yeah. like the title says, a friend of mine threw candy and it went into long vent the goes along the length of the windshield used for defrosting. the candy dropped right behind the clock and i was wondering WHERE HE HECK DOES THAT VENT LEAD TO.
and if it's possible to get the candy out.
i was thinking, if the thing leads to the in cabin microfilter, i could open glove compart, take out the filter, and maybe find the candy???
it would be great if i just turned on the defroster and it shot out, but that didn't work.
so all comments are welcome. not so much the sarcastic ones, but the helpful comments.
thanks

. Honestly though, never had to deal with this, but definitely want to see if someone has a real answer.. Just in case the ant thing doesnt work. Oh, and be sure to thank your friend for dropping the candy
can you see it from the outside? Get outside and try to look down in the vent and see it. If you can, get one of those bendie-snake-grabber things and see if you and a friend can work together, one outside directing and one inside using the grabber.
you can't see the candy from the outside. how would u be able to take the vent off? could u do that?? maybe i'll try it.
the candy was a choco covered cofee been, so i guess it would smell good. but if i turn on my defrost, what if it melts?? good thing it's winter........

Did you think of using a strong vacuum cleaner? If the candy is close enough maybe the suction tube thingy of a vacuum cleaner with the narrow attachment thing may be able to suck it up? Hope you get it out.

No, seriously, I would just try to maybe take the vent piece off?
