Like the title suggests, thinking about buying these exhaust components. After looking around, thinking of Cattman y pipe, into a Custom Maxima straight pipe, into cattman b pipe, into stock exhaust. I still have stock air intake.

As soon as these are on, Im gonna have a dyno done to compare to my stock dyno #'s, and will take it to the track before they close up, but I was wondering if anybody had done this setup already, and whether the increases in power justify the price. Any ideas on hp/tq increases over stock ??

Cattman ypipe - $350 list price after tomorrow
Straight pipe - $180...can be bought cheaper as a custom piece by quality muffler shop
Cattman bpipe - $275

Shipping and hardware extra of course.

Looking to put my Auto Max into mid 14's, and no spray. I ran 15.03 91.24 stock last week, for reference...

Thoughts ???

Okay this is what I would do will be completely done by Saturday. Drop the staight pipe idea. Pretty sure that's $180 wasted and you won't pass emission tests. I bought the cattman y-pipe, but got the budget b-pipe for $190 shipped. Save $85 and get the budget. I mean it's a straight pipe with a few bends and a resonator, how much different could it be? Then with all that money saved go buy a Frankencar intake. I will soon have this setup with a 2.5" custom bent rear into my stock muffler with Magnaflow 3" dual tips. I'm just waiting for my y-pipe to complete my setup. I would buy the y-pipe today since the sale price ends and then maybe just tell them to hold your order a few days so you can decide on a b-pipe. Just my .02 cents

I think you should be in the 14's quite easily, maybe get a resonator so you dont have a raspy exhaust note.
