Teins with 19s
If I dropped my max with teins...and threw on some 19x8 axis hagens with 245/35/19 tires...would I rub??? How close would I be and how would it ride...would having stuff in the trunk and people in the car be dangerous???

what will make the bigger difference in ride quality...18s with 245/40/18 tires instead of 19s with 245/35/19 tires or tein springs vs a softer spring like maxspeed or progress???
I live in the city and roads are not the best.

The wheels/tires combo will make more difference, I think. Some people are dropped with Teins, keeping stock wheels, and they're liking their ride.

245/35/19s are most probably up next if I dont get a system in next. I just dont justify getting rims unless the tires are nearly gone. Im sure the AVS ES100's have a good 10k+ left in them so I got a while to go...maybe Ill get the system

There's no reason to trim them, despite Tein stating otherwise. I left mine alone and the ride is superb...not bouncy.

^^ I have the Teins w/ Blues and so far they are great! The ride is almost stock with OEM wheels on. I cant say much for the way the car handles even with my old JIC setup, so the Teins dont really improve it that much.

Dude there is no way in hell that teins are the same ride as stock. NO WAY no matter what shocks your are using. You can feel every bump and some are bone jarring.
Anyone who says Tein are close to stock on city roads/bumps is crazy straight up. With 19's must be annoying.

^^ The thing you must understand is I'm coming from a JIC setup before my Teins. So TO ME the Teins ride so much nicer than the JIC full coilovers. I'm saying close to stock because compaired to other vehicles I've owned/driven in that were lowered this one with these shocks/springs is much more OEM like. I understand you feel more bumps but the Tein springs are made to lower the car to make it look better. Thats it, if you want a harsh ride or improved handling buy the a set of full coilovers.
